Studies have shown that breathing is the key to good health.

SereneMind it’s a perfect app for that. It’s simple to use, and pretty effective.

With a simple interface, it explains you how to use your breathing to relax your body.

First it asks you to count your beats, and then it asks you to inhale and exhale for a couple of seconds. The next step is finding a comfortable position (lying in your bed or just sitting in a good angle) and then, just breathing at the “beat” of a blue ball that expands and contracts.

It comes with a Log tab too, to keep track of your last breathing sessions.

What I like As I said before, simple, effective and intuitive, it simply guides you throw the app and explains you how to use it. It comes with a breathing technique too.

What I don’t like It crashes a lot, especially when you go throw the different tabs. The iPhone also goes to sleep mode when you’re doing the exercise, making a little bit annoying the need of touching it to see the blue ball.

What I should add Images. It has a lack of it, and I think that adding images in how count your beats or how to use the alternative breathing method would be nice.

Who I recommend this app • People who do yoga, a good breathing it’s the key for this. • People who are quitting smoking, this it’s a nice way to clean your lungs. • People who can’t sleep well.

SereneMind is $0.99 on the AppStore
